In Washington State, our main project continues to be our computer refurbishing and distribution program. The WTA collects computers from major corporations throughout the Puget Sound area and refurbishes them using volunteers, students, and staff. We then distribute these computers to schools and individuals throughout the Puget Sound Area.

Every computer comes with a 2 hour computer training session tailored to the skill level of a recipient and a year of hardware and software support. Classes are run at the WTA headquarters and the locations of our partners in a number of locations, including the Jubilee Reach Center in Bellevue, the College of Hope in Everett, and Southwest Youth and Family Services in Seattle, and other locations. Through the collection of small class fees, this program is entirely self-sustaining.
