WHAT EQUIPMENT CAN I DONATE TO WILDTECH?

Our refurbishing program accepts Windows-compatible and Macintosh personal computers, monitors, networking equipment, and other working parts.

WINDOWS PLATFORM: Pentium III or better, or AMD Athlon/Athlon XP/Duron
MAC PLATFORM: PowerPC G3 or G4 with built-in USB
MONITORS: 17” or greater (VGA cabling preferred)

NOTE: Systems and monitors must be functional to the donor's knowledge.

We may be able to take slower equipment on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for more information. Due the hazardous waste issues associated with monitors, the program cannot accept non-functional monitors.

For quantities of 5 or more in the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett area, we will make arrangements to pick up your equipment. Drop-offs are always welcome at our Seattle office. Through our refurbishing partners and donors, we can pick up large palletized loads anywhere in the state, up to semi trailer size.

You receive a statement of donation at the time of pickup. This statement will show the equipment you donated. It allows you to take a tax deduction to the fullest extent allowed by law.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DONATION?

Your donation is in good hands with WildTech. Systems targeted for refurbishment are carefully examined and skillfully serviced by student volunteers. These systems are then cleared of all pre-existing information, and stripped of all donor markings before they are redeployed in a WildTech program.

FINANCIAL DONATIONS

The WTA serves thousands of students, low income community members and homeless people in three states.  We do this with nearly an all-volunteer staff and sustain primarily from small program-service fees.  In fact, over 93% of all funding we receive goes to program services!  Financial donations have a huge impact on our ability to expand and deepen our programs.  Click the button below to make a financial donation.
