Digital Equity Program
Welcome to our Comprehensive Digital Equity Program, guiding participants through the digital landscape. By leveraging our 7 pillars of digital equity, we empower you to gain confidence and mastery in technology, enhancing your connections and independence in a digital world.

Pillar 1: Device Access
-
We secure financial donations to refurbish and procure devices that we provide for free, or charge small cost recovery fees for refurbished laptop computers.
-
We refurbish donated devices via our Computer Refurbishing Program, then provide them to people in need.
-
We select relevant applications based on user needs and install the apps on the devices
Pillar 2: Internet Access Highlights
-
Fully functioning in the today's world depends on reliable internet access.
-
Disadvantaged individuals may lack access to internet in the home and at community locations.
-
Our digital navigators can guide you to the optimal solution fitting your budget and needs.

Pillar 3: Participant Training
-
All participants receive an initial training session
-
After the training session, participants are eligible for our Six Module courses covering essential skills for their device
-
Bi-Weekly "Advanced Tech Trainings" are also available for more in-depth learning
Pillar 4: Relevant Uses
-
To promote continued engagement, we've created a virtual meeting place via the Zoom platform.
-
Utilizing Zoom presentations, we provide valuable information and resources from local service providers.
-
Our Volunteer Corps program invites select participants to join in on creating weekly programming, encouraging increased peer participation.
-
We provide virtual programming for socialization and entertainment including: Zoom parties, competitions, Movie of the Month, and Lunch Club.

Pillar 5: Technical Support
-
Free help desk services are available Monday -Thursday 11am - 2pm EST.
-
Live support technicians are available via email and by telephone.
Pillar 6: Participant Advancement
-
Participants may discontinue device use due to technological issues that can be easily addressed.
-
We actively track participant engagement and use proactive outreach to ensure no one is left behind.
-
Our team of Advanced Techs utilize a variety of resources to aid Particioants in returning to active device use

Pillar 7: Work-Based Learning
-
For people seeking employment or entrepreneurship, computer access and digital literacy training are often not enough. They need technology work experience to get a job, which can be hard to get. WildTech provides real technology work experience for new computer users in many ways:
